Thread is a recruitment firm founded by an enthusiastic couple tired of the cold, impersonal nature of modern hiring. They saw a market polarized between large traditional firms that churned through candidates without care and modern platforms powered by AI that removed the human touch entirely.

Their vision was to build a firm that could be modern and efficient while remaining genuinely human, looking beyond resumes to understand what makes lasting employer-candidate relationships. To launch with credibility in the competitive construction recruitment space, they needed a brand that felt both approachable and established from day one.

We built an identity that felt familiar yet ownable, leaning into the concept of the thread that connects people to the businesses they want to work for. The visual system balanced modern sensibility with the warmth and credibility of an established agency, giving Thread the confidence to compete with larger firms while staying true to their values-driven approach. The brand extended across touchpoints with clarity and consistency, positioning them as a firm that understands what makes teams stick in an industry plagued by constant churn.

We designed a website that works together with their backend recruitment system to properly guide employers and candidates toward their intended goals. The user journey is easy and clear, helping set the stage for effective acquisition without unnecessary friction. The site cuts the bloat and establishes a strong foundation that can scale as the startup grows, supporting their thesis that better alignment during recruitment reduces turnover and builds stronger teams.
